Calling all Volleyball Players!
Come out and join us for a fun day of Volleyball to help raise Teen Suicide and Mental Health Awareness.
On April 4, 2018 we lost an amazing young woman that dedicated her life to teaching and training our children about volleyball. Sydney Irizarry was more than a mentor to hundreds of children in our community. Her passion and love taught all of our kids about sportsmanship, determination, and teamwork. Sydney touched so many lives that we want to honor her in the only way we know how.
This fundraiser tournament will help us bring people together, raise suicide and mental health awareness and raise funds to support our local efforts.
All Proceeds that goes to the Swing for Sydney Foundation help:
- Support initiatives designed to increase awareness and enhance the response to suicide in the local schools and communities.
- Fund the Life Saver program at our local H.S. This program helps develop, train, and create tools and resources to teach students how to help prevent suicide within our youth.
- Fund local HS scholarship.
- Support local students with financial needs.
The Teen Suicide rate has doubled over the past decade. Please help us so we can bring the tools and resources that all of our kids so desperately need.
