Overview
Our High Schools Boys All-Skills Training Program will meet weekly (# of practices vary per session)! Each practice includes coach driven instruction, drills covering all the major skills, (passing, setting, attacking, serving, defense and blocking) and chances to apply new techniques in game-like match play. This will be a high energy, fast paced environment! This is a great opportunity for all skill levels!
Focus
To expand on the fundamental skills, movements & concepts, and to improve each individual's gameplay & volleyball IQ.
Coaching Staff
This program will be directed by Coach Matt Mahoney. Matt played collegiately at Missouri Baptist, earning himself an All American title in 2010. He then went on to play professionally in Spain and on the AVP beach circuit for a number of years in the US. He has been coaching volleyball athletes of all skill levels for 10+ years. Other coaches will include some of our other program directors, college players, club coaches, and HS coaches.
Fall Session 2023
Our Fall program will meet 2x/week for 5 weeks. Each practice will be 1.5 hours and include coach driven instruction, drills covering all the major skills, (passing, setting, attacking, serving, defense and blocking) and chances to apply new techniques in game-like match play. This will be a high energy, fast paced environment!
